Michael Payne is a television veteran with over 20 years experience in the industry. He is currently the president of Hearts and Minds Media, LLC, specializing in non-fiction media with social, educational, and emotional relevance. Since beginning his television career in 1987, Mr. Payne has occupied several roles, including producer, writer, off-line editor, project manager, post-production supervisor. As a staff and freelance employee at Discovery Communications, Inc. from 1987 to 2005, he produced and wrote original programs and promotional material, developed and managed the production of new media products, and reversioned hundreds of program hours. He also produces for National Geographic Channel.
