Spec Voice Over Projects that Turn Lucrative
May 19th, 2008 Posted in General InfoI wrote a post called “Firsts” That Last, about my first voice over job, Adventures of an Amazon Explorer, (original producer/director: Cate Frost) done on spec that turned lucrative years later when Discovery Networks bought the documentary for the Travel Channel. I interviewed the producer, Michael Payne, for tomorrow’s (Tuesday May 20) podcast. I asked him about why they wanted the original narrator to re-narrate the project. The answer was a surprise!
