Searching For Your Voice- SEO and Voice Over Marketing

April 4th, 2008 Posted in General Info, Marketing

What I’ve discovered with the New Media craze is it’s all about SEO or…Search Engine Optimization. Sounds like a complicated concept but it’s pretty simple. You have to be easily searched. So whether you’re offering voice over services or selling a product, we all need to be known, noticed and easily found. Bob Souer posted a blog about this the other day sending readers to Peter O’Connell’s post called, “If your website is a store, are you displaying a closed sign?”

Someone recently said, “the internet is like the biggest shopping mall in the world.” Now all we have to do is get all those shoppers to come to our store.

    Tara:

Getting them to the store is NOT enough, unfortunately.

Once they get there, prospects have be wowed by the unique point of difference that the business offers (hint: it has nothing to do with colors or flash).

Too often, many business web sites (including voice talent sites) think an on-line brochure is enough.

    It isn’t.

    Thanks for the link.

    Best always,

Thanks Peter. You are so right. It goes back to the same business question- How are you different from the competition?
